  3. Wireless detectors for MCI, CMA, FAI, SNO and NOV!
  4. Review troubleshooting wireless networks?
  5. New PWB serial number (done) (demo)
  6. Reminder on e-mail links and PWB
  7. Trend: updates going better, and "Update Now" function works in any account
  8. Lots of new MillCirc version loads = problem observed
  9. PMM and Spam Management (questions?)
2. Topics
  1. On-Off Switches on PCs:
    1. Instant Off (very old, very rare)
    2. 5-seconds hold down off ("soft off")
    3. Newest PCs and OSs: Instant shutdown process (W2k, XP)
    4. If it's the newest type, it is OK to use this at end of day

  2. Number Lock, E-Term32 and Windows
    Forcing NumLock On in Windows and E-Term32

  3. Multimedia on Public Net and Catalog PCs
    1. List of Media Players that we install on Net, WebPAC PCs
    2. List of test file types at http://libtech.marin.org/test/
    3. Other application/file types may work, but who knows?
    4. All Media Players fight to be the default player

    5. Some MPs have "Digital Rights Management" and can lookup names of files on the Internet
      (Another sample from WMP 9.0)
    6. Next step is XP on Public Net PCs, to get a better graphics viewer and enable the newest versions of the media players that we use.
