    1. Tech Support Lite this week (it's a one Dan band)
    2. Calling in all the blackboards from the workshops, Tech Support will collect to return to OPL
    3. ADA stations: single configuration, no new installs yet
    4. New Stuff Report:
      • Group 1 PCs out, Group 2 here
      • All color printers installed
      • Receipt printers just arrived
      • Left to do: FSMs, Monitor arms, scanners, Group 3 PCs
    5. Progress on other updates (MC, SP3, Office, PWB, VLC, AR9) is Glacial but Steady (show them the big board)
    6. update on Self Check e-mail receipts project
    7. Library Online outage of Oct. 1, Weds. evening
    8. Outlook Web Access and Office 2007 docx's (as zip files)
    9. Reminder: Touchpads and Trackballs available per LBM request for staff

  2. Topics

    1. Media Readers for staff and public PCs
      • Type 19 PCs have media readers
      • They hold various card types (SD, Memory Stick, CF) common to cameras and PDAs
      • Each slot has a drive letter (E:, F:, G:, H:, I:)
      • USB drives may end up before or after all the media drive letters (so E: or J:)
      • Steps to help with use on public PCs?
      • We will retrofit public PCs (or staff) as needed or requested
      • Always buy cameras that use some standard type of Media

    2. Office 2007: We have learned a few things
      1. Encore for Office 2007 Cheatsheet and the Talking points
      2. It's easy to set default save type to .doc (97-03 format): Office Button, Word Options, Save
      3. Menu Ribbon can "AutoHide"
      4. We can leave previous Office versions except for Outlook
      5. Problems with Outlook: contacts, pst's, rules
